The Alesis Ineko is a digital effects processor with 48 effects including lush reverbs, digital delays, filters, as well a vocorder. It uses a large graphic interface that covers the top of the effect. This effect is made to used on the table top or mixing board and really isn't for putting into a rack.
You can use it for modifing your effects live in realtime. So that is why the large interface. Alesis designed the unit to be simple which is essential for playing in realtime. There are three knobs that control all aspects of the effects. It uses 1/4" (-10dB) line level inputs and outputs. It uses 24-bit AD DA converters that run at 44.1kHz sample rate. The signal processor is made by Alesis and operates at 28-bits of resolution. This is really a good processor for the money.
